I'm a CIS major. I've spent a good deal of time in programming JavaScript. It would be a wonderful scripting language, if it weren't for each browser's poor compliance to standards like the DOM.

But oh well...

As I'm sure you can see by all the animation on this page, we can still do interesting things with it.

In CIS 221, we are required to give up Windows and adopt Unix. I find that the hardest part of this transition is that Unix doesn't have a very special part of Windows that I have learned to love. So I decided to rewrite it in JavaScript!

I recently wrote a little maze-generating program as proof of concept for recursion.
